This website provides you a basic overview of thermoelectric cooling devices. Our goal is to get more people to know these devices and to use them for more applications in an educated way. The contents under the home tab covers the basic introduction, advantage and disadvantage, application examples, etc. The content is slightly more in depth than general introductions found from, for instance Wikipedia or YouTube. Under the Device Basic tab, we provide a simple discussion of general performances, design parameters and optimization strategies. The discussion is slightly more advanced than introductory textbooks on thermoelectrics. Under the Device Design tab, we provide computed results for a few materials pairing schemes.
